Most clients use the freelance recruiter service to attract and recruit permanent
employees, but it can also be used to recruit reliable contractors.
In fact, some would say that using a freelance recruiter is more cost and time
effective than using an agency.
Let me explain why.
In order to make a profit, the contract agency has to make a considerable margin on
the money it pays to the contract worker.

Contractors are expensive and most agencies will use Invoice Discounting or Factoring in order to
fund the cash flow required.
Let's face it, how many small businesses could fund 20 contractors at say £1500
a week each?
So Factoring is an attractive option, but it's also expensive and so the cost is passed to you. And
you still have to pay weekly.
Using a freelace recruitment service means that you only have to pay for the actual recruitment
exercise, not the recurring margins of 20-25%.
The cost savings can be enormous, as long as you don't mind paying the contractors directly and
promptly.
There is also a one-off initial charge of £1500 for the search and recruitment process,
payable upon instruction.
After that, the flat rate fee is just £2,000 per contractor hired from the same campaign,
regardless of the duration of the contract.
